The basic points that consider from bonding theory are relevant to the molecular structure of sticky material and the surface structure of adherend and interactions between them.Bonding system damage exeperiment shows that bonding also occours four different conditions when damaged: 1. Interface failure: all with the sticky adhesive surface layer separately (from complete adhesive interface); 2. Cohesive damage: damage occurred in the plasticsticky agent or adherend itself, rather than the interface between the adhesive; 3. mixed failure: adherends and adhesive layer itself has some damage, or both, or only one of them.The destruction illustrate that stickness is not only relevant to the interactions between the adhesive and adherend, but also relevant to the molecule interactions of polymer adhesive.
