Currently environmental protection, high performance is the development direction of adhesive, and the speical environmental friendly adhesive  becomes the importantl area of research and development.
Zhang Junying ,who is the vice chairman of Adhesion Society in Beijing  and the professor of Chemical Technology University, said that adhesive had been widely used in all areas of the national economy at present,it had become indispensable important material to modern life. But there’s a big gap between domestic and foreign adhesive, the main problems are: many manufacturers produce the similar products which without its own future; series level is low, and lack of high-performance products; R & D capability is not strong, lack of evaluation tools, the quality can not be guaranteed; Development and production unit communication channels are fewer;Basic material properties can not be guaranteed; small investment to the foundation, a lot of problems to be resolved, such as pollution of adhesive, curing speed and water resistance, energy consumption during production and application of high temperature failure and other issues..
Zhang Jun-ying pointed out that the introduction of many new materials were bought in the areas of special adhesive,it lead special adhesive made great progress in research and development production practice, some new varieties, new methods, new technologies, are the concern areas of the market. Currently,the hot research of adhesive area are: environmental protection type, fast curing water-based emulsion type, energy-efficient and resistant to high temperature, low temperature curing adhesive used, all these to meet the supersonic missiles, launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, key components such as structural adhesives and other manufacturing’s needs.
